Job summary

XQ Technical Ltd in Italy is seeking a Senior Hydraulics Technician to join our high-performance racing operations. You will work hands-on with advanced hydraulic systems, focusing on maintenance, fault-finding and ensuring reliability under demanding conditions.

The role requires experience with high-pressure hydraulics (350–600 bar) and a background in Formula 1 or top-level motorsport is highly valued. Based predominantly in Italy, occasional travel will be required.

Senior Hydraulics Technician

Location: Italy

Contract Fixed-Term

We are looking for an experienced Senior Hydraulics Technician to join a high-performance racing.

The position requires someone with strong practical mechanical skills and experience working with high-pressure hydraulic systems, ideally operating between 350-600 bar.

Experience within Formula 1 or top-level motorsport would be particularly valuable, although we would also consider candidates from other reliability-critical environments, including aviation, helicopter maintenance and marine engineering.

The successful candidate will need to be confident working hands-on with complex hydraulic systems, including maintenance, fault-finding and ensuring operational reliability.

This is an initial fixed-term position requiring someone who can be based predominantly in Italy, with flexibility to travel.
