Greentalent is seeking a Senior HV Engineer – Energy Storage to support the tendering and execution of international EPC projects focused on HV substations and associated electrical infrastructure.

Working with PMs, contractors, suppliers, utilities and external consultants, the role includes technical evaluation, design review, interface management and commissioning activities, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in HV substations (up to 400 kV) and electrical infrastructure within EPC projects.
• Solid understanding of HV primary equipment, Protection & Control systems, SCADA/SAS, earthing, and power system studies.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, CEI, NEC, NESC standards; proficient with AutoCAD, ETAP or PowerFactory.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary international stakeholders and external engineers/consultants.
• Strong analytical, planning and stakeholder management skills; proactive problem-solver.
• Professional proficiency in English and Italian; willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsabilités

• Support bid preparation by reviewing technical specs, assessing solutions and identifying risks/opportunities.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables from EPC contractors and suppliers to ensure standards compliance.
• Manage technical clarifications, deviations and engineering changes across the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress and participate in technical reviews and issue resolution.
• Act as primary technical interface with clients, utilities, owner's engineers and permitting authorities to align deliverables and schedules.

Senior HV Engineer – Energy Storage

The Senior HV Engineer will support the tendering and execution of international EPC projects related to High Voltage (HV) substations and associated electrical infrastructure.

Working closely with PMs, contractors, suppliers, utilities, and external engineering consultants, the candidate will be responsible for technical evaluation, design review, interface management, construction support, and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support bid preparation by reviewing technical specifications, assessing solutions, and identifying project risks and opportunities;
• Review and approve engineering deliverables from EPC contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with standards and grid codes;
• Manage technical clarifications, deviations, and engineering changes throughout the project lifecycle;
• Monitor engineering progress and actively participate in technical reviews and issue resolution;
• Act as the primary technical interface with clients, utilities, owner's engineers, and permitting authorities to align deliverables and schedules.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• Minimum 8 years of experience in HV substations (up to 400 kV) and electrical infrastructure within EPC projects;

• Availability for national and international travel.

Salary range: €40.000–€55.000, depending on experience and seniority.
