The candidate will join CETENA, a company within the Fincantieri NexTech Group, and work in the Business Unit focused on safety in the naval and maritime sector at Genova headquarters.
We are looking for a professional with expertise in Human Factors and design for the naval industry. The primary goal will be to integrate advanced ergonomic solutions into the maritime field.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to develop/integrate innovative Human Factors solutions for workspaces and living areas onboard;
- Analyze and optimize the layout and accessibility of spaces, considering the specific comfort and safety needs of users (crew, passengers, operators);
- Conduct ergonomic assessments of workstations;
- Draft technical project documentation;
- Participate in R&D projects;
- Participate in meetings with project stakeholders (both national and international).
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Degree in Industrial Design, Naval Engineering, Architecture, or Ergonomic related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of ergonomic analysis techniques and design methodologies.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD design software.
- Advanced knowledge of the Office suite (particularly Excel).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with naval design principles and relevant safety and functionality standards.
- Previous experience (including internships or projects) in ergonomics, industrial design, or naval design.
