Take on a pivotal role as a Senior HR Manager and make a meaningful impact across our Diabetes business teams. As a key HR Business Partner you’ll have the opportunity to shape and enhance the employee experience while driving business success in a dynamic results-oriented environment. Collaborating closely with business leaders and the wider HR function you will lead transformative initiatives in talent acquisition, cultural evolution, inclusion, performance and talent management, employee relations, total rewards and organizational effectiveness. Reporting to the Vice President of HR you will provide strategic partnership and hands‑on support to our commercial structure across Southern Europe, Israel and Scandinavia. Based in Milan, Italy you will manage a remote sub‑regional team while directly supporting senior business leaders and employee populations within your region. This position offers a collaborative international environment where you can make a tangible difference working for a business committed to empowering people with diabetes through meaningful innovation and support.
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic’s Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. Our HR team will play a pivotal role in the journey to become a standalone company.
The ideal candidate holds an MBA or related business degree and has a proven track record of implementing HR programs in a fast‑paced global environment. Experience in the medical device technology, healthcare or consumer products industries as well as with commercial and R&D teams is a plus. They possess strong expertise in talent management, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness and are skilled at collaborating across global matrixed organizations and managing diverse stakeholders. Flexibility, adaptability and proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday are also key attributes.
