Responsibilities:
- Be the sole HR representative in the ESET Italy office, independently managing all HR areas and serving as the primary contact for employees and managers.
- Design and execute local HR strategies across core areas including recruitment, employer branding, employee relations and engagement, performance, compensation, benefits, and learning & development.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to implement strategies, policies, and activities, ensuring alignment with local labor laws.
- Support and advise local leadership and employees on workforce issues, providing the necessary tools, guidance, and knowledge.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, development, and offboarding, ensuring compliance with Italian labor laws.
- Oversee HR operations and administration, including payroll coordination, contract management, data accuracy in Workday, reporting, and budget planning related to headcount, benefits, and promotions.
- Drive internal communication, organize or support local team activities, and contribute to global CSR efforts to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience managing the entire employee lifecycle and all HR areas (hiring, planning, budgeting, recruitment, L&D, C&B).
- Good knowledge of current labor legislation, practices, and policies.
- Experience handling complex employee issues with quick, rational decision-making.
- Fluent in English (C1 level) and native Italian.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, approachable manner and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work well under pressure with competing priorities.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
