Job summary

Webuild S.p.A. is seeking a Senior Buyer for its international projects. You will conduct market research, liaise with suppliers, and coordinate with the Project Procurement Manager to obtain the best technical and economic proposals.

Responsibilities include supplier negotiations, cost analyses, and drafting terms for Purchase Orders. Strong English and 5–10 years of experience on large-scale projects are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or similar.
• At least 5–10 years of experience on large, complex projects.
• Advanced English (oral and written) for international Clients.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Webuild Group policies and procedures.
• Support the Material Manager in defining the strategy.
• Define the Vendor List and issue RFQs; negotiate with suppliers to maximize savings and quality.
• Perform cost analyses and prepare summary tables of offers and recommendations.
• Draft terms and conditions of Purchase Orders with Legal/Contracts support.
• Manage supplier relations according to company ethics and anti-corruption policies.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery respecting safety and environment constraints.
• Work to meet project deadlines.
