About Accountable

Accountable is revolutionising financial management for the self-employed. Our platform simplifies taxes, accounting, and financial administration for the self-employed, and we are expanding into banking. With a proven product and a growing customer base, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Over the Counter (OTC) team.

Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Over-the-Counter (OTC) team. You will be instrumental in developing essential features for one of our fastest growing user segments: over-the-counter professionals such as hairdressers, beauty specialists, physicians, and more. You will ensure these features are seamlessly integrated into our product. Key features the OTC team is working on include:

• payment solutions (Tap-to-pay, QR codes)
• revenue linking (API to POS systems)
• accounting solutions for OTC professions

This role is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in an experimentation-driven environment, enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, and wants to have a direct impact on business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement features into the product, ensuring smooth execution and seamless user experience.
• Optimize conversion funnels, pricing models, and feature experiments through data-driven development.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Engineering team to identify technical solutions that drive revenue growth.
• Ensure smooth integration of OTC features with the Product & Engineering team while maintaining code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and refine product features, making rapid iterations based on results.
• Review code through Pull Requests, ensuring best practices in development, performance, and security.
