Location: On-site, Pisa, Italy

ION Group is seeking ambitious and self-driven candidates for the role of Full Stack Software Engineer to expand our multi-site development team in Pisa. Our team develops financial innovation products that enhance our clients' revenue generation capabilities and help maintain our leadership in the fintech market.

In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and collaborate closely with software product management. You will work within a full-stack, collaborative team environment that encourages research into new technologies and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing, coding, and debugging software.
• Improving existing software performance.

Your skills and experience

• Proficiency in object-oriented, concurrent, functional, or asynchronous programming paradigms.

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with ATDD and TDD practices and tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and relevant IDEs (Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, etc.).
• Ability to handle complex systems and requirements.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams for over 3 years.
• Rigorous, professional, and team-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues at all levels.

Academic background

• Preferred: BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Engineering or Science from top-ranked universities.
