Job summary

Alfadocs is seeking a Senior Full Stack Backend Engineer to own the backend, shape architecture, and mentor the team. You will lead secure, scalable feature development across the stack, with emphasis on healthcare compliance and robust testing.

Based in the EU, this remote, full-time role offers a salary of 60–70k EUR and a collaborative, low-ego culture. You’ll work with React frontend tweaks, Symfony backend, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software experience with 3+ years in a senior role.
• Extensive Symfony experience including Doctrine ORM and core components.
• Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Security best practices for frontend and backend in healthcare.
• Proficient in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
• Solid React.js understanding for frontend optimizations.
• Strong MySQL design, optimization, and management.
• Experience with Docker for dev environments.
• Familiar with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automation.
• Proficient in using AI/LLMs to support complex workflows.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
