We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our tech team. Engineering is central to Tot, and we take pride in a culture that prioritises collaboration and innovation. Our tech team works closely with product designers and managers to build impactful features, promoting genuine teamwork and a shared commitment to growth.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll have the chance to work alongside industry experts, taking ownership of the web application thousands of users use daily. You’ll partner with backend engineers and product owners to design and build a performant, robust and reliable application.

What you will do

• Develop and evolve our web app with a customer-centric approach
• Design and implement the software architecture of our application with a holistic vision of frontend layers
• Deliver quality code in an efficient manner
• Collaborate with fellow engineers and product owners
• Mentor junior developers, helping them to grow and enhance their skills

What you need to succeed

• 4+ years of professional software development experience or an advanced degree in a related field
• Experience in the development of web applications with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Ability to write English fluently and idiomatically

Nice to have

• Background in backend programming or prior engagement in full-stack positions
• Proficiency in testing automation and familiarity with testing frameworks
• Knowledge of functional programming with fp-ts and io-ts
• Previous experience in mobile development for Android and iOS platforms
