A fast-growing logistics startup in Italy is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design and develop scalable backend services in TypeScript. You will work closely with product and frontend teams to deliver new features efficiently while ensuring code quality. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in a startup environment and strong knowledge of RESTful architectures. A full-time freelance contract offers a competitive salary between €45k and €60k.

Tasks

• Design and develop scalable backend services in TypeScript
• Work closely with product and frontend teams to deliver new features efficiently
• Write clean, testable code with unit and end-to-end tests
• Contribute to architectural decisions and backend best practices
• Help evolve our service-oriented backend ecosystem

Requirements

• 3+ years as a Backend Developer in startup / scaleup environments
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and RESTful architectures
• Experience with at least one Node.js-based backend framework
• Solid testing habits (unit + E2E)
• Basic understanding of relational databases

Nice to have :

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with NestJS
• Knowledge of Magento v2.4.x
