A fast-growing logistics startup in Italy is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to build scalable backend services using TypeScript. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in startup environments and is strong in RESTful architectures and testing. This role offers a full-time freelance contract with a salary range of €45k to €60k and a remote-friendly work environment.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer in startup or scaleup environments.

• Solid testing habits (unit + E2E).
• Basic understanding of relational databases.

• Design and develop scalable backend services in TypeScript
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver features efficiently
• Write clean, testable code with unit and end-to-end tests
• Contribute to architectural decisions and backend best practices
• Help evolve our service-oriented backend ecosystem

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer in startup or scaleup environments
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and RESTful architectures
• Experience with at least one Node.js-based backend framework
• Solid testing habits (unit + E2E)
• Basic understanding of relational databases

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with NestJS
• Knowledge of Magento v2.4.x
