Job summary

Leadout Capital is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to implement Salesforce Data 360 in enterprise environments. You will write SQL, Apex, and Python, build ingestion pipelines, and ensure accurate, real-time data grounding for agent-based solutions.

You will collaborate with architects, deployment strategists, and customer teams to validate designs, run production handoffs, and stabilize deployments. Strong English and Italian skills are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical implementation.
• Proficiency in English and Italian language.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) or a comparable enterprise data platform.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines and integrations with enterprise data platforms.
• Proficient in SQL and able to build, debug, and optimize multi-table queries.
• Fluent in Apex, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript and willing to learn others.
• Understand data modeling, APIs, integration patterns, batch and streaming processing.
• Experience building retrieval systems for AI applications (vector databases, embeddings).
• Experience implementing secure data access and rigorous testing.
• Delivered alongside customers/partners in deadline-driven environments.
• Relevant certifications in Salesforce Agentforce, Data 360, and Salesforce Platform.

Responsibilities

• Build in customer environments using Data 360 configuration, SQL, Apex, Flow, Python, REST API, and deployment tooling.
• Engineer the data layer across ingestion, harmonization, and identity resolution for batch and streaming sources.
• Prove it works by creating test data and validating outcomes across paths and volumes.
• Ground the agents with the AI data integration layer (RAG, vector databases, search indexes, knowledge bases).
• Orchestrate agent communication with MCP and agent-to-agent protocols.
• Connect the ecosystem with scalable, secure data integration patterns.
• Govern data through secure integration, transformation, and governance across Salesforce ecosystem and external systems.
• Build for scale and security with OAuth/SAML and secure authentication/authorization.
• Debug ingestion failures, mapping defects, and schema drift with logs and query evidence.
• Own implementation decisions and hand off to architects with documented tradeoffs.
• Accelerate with AI using Data 360 APIs and MCP Servers to automate builds.
• Co-build with customers and partners, packaging metadata, scripts, queries, tests, and runbooks.
• Feed the roadmap by surfacing gaps with live evidence to Product and Support.
