Financial Transformation Leader

We are seeking a seasoned finance executive to drive financial performance and improve cash flow discipline in one of our portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private equity-backed businesses, including prior CFO or Finance Director roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all core finance functions: controlling, planning, reporting, treasury, tax, and audit.
• Act as finance partner to the CEO and the Board, providing strategic and operational insight.
• Take ownership of cash management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
• Support and/or lead restructuring, turnaround, carve-out, or cost rationalization programs.
• Prepare and lead financial aspects of M&A activity (due diligence, integration, etc.).
• Establish reliable financial reporting tools and performance KPIs.
• Maintain relationships with banks, advisors, legal and audit partners, ensuring covenant compliance and risk control.

Candidate Profile

• Seasoned finance executive with at least 10–15 years of experience, including prior CFO or Finance Director roles.
• Strong background in private equity-backed businesses – ideally as CFO in a portfolio company.
• Strong experience in family run business and SMEs.
• Demonstrated experience in turnaround, restructuring, or special situations.
• Solid technical background in cash flow management, cost control, debt structuring, and financial operations.
• Experience leading or supporting M&A transactions (both buy and sell side).
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial approach – able to operate with limited resources and tight timelines.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• CPA, MBA or equivalent preferred.
