You will lead financial reporting, implement improvements, and provide strategic insights while developing a high-performing team. A strong background in finance, ACCA or CIMA qualification, and experience in the retail sector are crucial for success in this role.

Macgregor Black are partnering with a Leading Apparel Brand looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join their team in Milan.

As a key finance leader, you will provide proactive, data-driven insights to support business growth, enhance profitability, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy across the P&L and balance sheet.
• Implement process improvements to enhance financial performance and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with key stakeholders to prepare monthly forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities in customer trends, logistics, and inventory.
• Provide analytical support to understand customer and product performance, influencing commercial decision-making.
• Support the Sales Director by analysing marketing spend and maximising return on investment.
• Lead and develop a Finance Analyst, fostering a high-performing team culture.

What are we looking for?

• ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification with significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a track record of driving profitability and business performance.
• Experience in the consumer or retail sector, with a wholesale background, is highly advantageous.
• Ability to provide actionable insights through financial analysis and forecasting.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in stakeholder engagement.
