Role:

The Senior Field Technician – BESS is responsible for onsite technical support and remote assistance to customers or third-party service partners. The role involves coordinating with the EU and HQ teams to ensure efficient service and issue resolution for BESS devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and Technical Supervision of Field Operations: Oversee all field activities including commissioning, preventive, and corrective maintenance. Focus on minimizing downtime and optimizing fault resolution by managing customer relationships and sharing relevant information with the team.
• Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with the monitoring team to analyze BESS operational data, assess performance, and work closely with HQ and EU technical teams to address issues.
• Technical Issue Resolution: Identify and implement solutions in collaboration with HQ to ensure swift problem resolution.

Additional Activities:

• Participate in commissioning, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance on-site.
• Support help desk with phone assistance and ticket management.

Skill Requirements:

• Electrical certification compliant with local laws.
• Proficiency with basic electrical tools such as multimeters and torque wrenches.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and relevant technical background.
• At least 2 years of on-site experience with BESS commissioning, electrical device installation, wiring, and commissioning.
• Proficient in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing), capable of writing formal manuals in English.

Additional Responsibilities:

• HSE and PPE Management: Identify risks and develop strategies under the guidance of the HSE Manager to ensure safety compliance.
• Spare Parts and Resource Management: Manage spare parts inventory, coordinate with technical teams on compatibility, and ensure resource availability for smooth operations.
• Coordinate with local teams and service partners for technical interventions and repairs.
• Liaise with EU/HQ technical teams for technical compatibility, parts replacement, and problem resolution.
