General Description:

The Field Market Access Manager/Senior Manager Italy will be responsible for optimizing access to BeiGene's pipeline at a regional level, building strategic relationships, and engaging with regional payers and organizations.

This role involves developing projects, managing budgets, and presenting value evidence to payers and budget holders at the regional level. The aim is to create a favorable environment for our products through effective communication with payers at regional and local levels, aligned with local country business strategies.

Region:

Lombardy-Piedmont-Liguria-Valle D’Aosta and Sardinia. Residence: Lombardy.

Essential Functions:
  • Define and implement market access strategies to ensure product access at regional and hospital levels by demonstrating therapeutic, economic, and societal value based on regional insights.
  • Manage relationships with Regional Health Authorities, hospitals, and decision-makers impacting pharmaceutical policies, acting as the main point of contact for BeiGene’s portfolio.
  • Introduce BeiGene’s products at regional and hospital levels.
  • Lead negotiations for tenders, negotiated procedures, and regional agreements with purchasing centers.
  • Guide the development of pharmaco-economic data and cost-effectiveness models tailored to stakeholder needs.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders including health authorities, medical societies, scientific institutions, payers, and patient groups.
  • Communicate changes and trends in health policies and competitor activities to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry roles involving dialogue with health authorities and local organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of the national and regional health systems.
  • Proven leadership in stakeholder relationships within healthcare organizations.
  • Strong scientific knowledge to support clinical and therapeutic value discussions.
  • Successful experience in drug launches and negotiations on pricing and reimbursement.
  • Strategic thinking and persuasive communication skills.
  • Languages: Native Italian and good English proficiency.
Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or Business.

Computer Skills:

Standard computer skills required.

Travel:

Approximately 75% of the time.
