Senior Expert Solution Engineer (Telemetry & Troubleshooting Team)

Role purpose

You will take a lead role in coordinating the design, development, and deployment of systems and complex solutions across European markets, aligning with business needs and strategy. You will manage the entire lifecycle of systems and solutions within your area of accountability, translating business demands into technical requirements and identifying impacted areas.

Responsibilities

• Managing the entire project lifecycle and coordinating with suppliers during design, development, and implementation phases according to the Delivery Management Process.
• Ensuring effective Release Management and Capacity Management for relevant systems.
• Delivering projects / programs on time, within budget, and with quality standards.
• Consulting with internal customers and stakeholders on system / product developments, market trends, and improvements.
• Selecting and coordinating suppliers for various project phases.

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience

• Professional experience in telecommunications or IT.
• Deep knowledge of local market processes.
• Knowledge of the OSS Solution Portfolio.
• Leadership skills for shaping specialized topics.

Required technical / professional qualifications

• Engineering degree (Bachelor / Master) in telecommunications, computer science, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Vodafone fixed and FWA services (FTTH, FTTx, xDSL, FWA 4G / 5G).
• Project management skills.
• Networking overview.
• Knowledge of systems architecture (SOAP, REST).
• Understanding of cloud environments and databases.
• Knowledge of COPS, Assurance, and Operations processes for fixed services.
• Proficiency in English at least at B2 level.

Budget responsibility

• Managing project / program budgets up to approximately €5 million.
