We operate as a licensed telecom operator and provide interconnection services to major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), aggregators, and digital service providers worldwide.

Your impact

As a Senior / Experienced Wholesale A2P SMS Key Account Manager, you will play a key role in growing Agile Telecom’s international wholesale business, managing strategic accounts and developing long-term partnerships with carriers, aggregators, CPaaS providers, and OTT platforms.

You will be responsible for both the commercial development and the operational health of your accounts, ensuring profitability, service quality, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Some examples of your responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key wholesale accounts (both buy and sell side) within the A2P SMS market
  • Develop new business opportunities with international aggregators and carriers
  • Optimize routing and pricing strategies to maximize margins and meet service level expectations
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance analyses with partners
  • Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and volume commitments
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments (technical, legal, billing, finance) to ensure successful delivery and onboarding
  • Attend industry events and represent Agile Telecom at global conferences (e.g., GSMA WAS, Capacity, GCCM)

What we are looking for – Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Wholesale A2P SMS account management or sales
  • Established network of contacts across the messaging ecosystem (aggregators, hubs, carriers)
  • Strong understanding of SMS delivery, routing, KPIs, and anti-fraud practices
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, pricing tools, Google Workspace and Microsoft suite
  • Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus
  • Highly motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently

What we are looking for – Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of international telecom regulations affecting A2P messaging (e.g., LATAM, India, Middle East)
  • Experience with traffic analysis, spam filtering frameworks, and DLR troubleshooting
  • Active participation in industry forums or associations such as GSMA, MEF, or Capacity Media
