The Role

We are seeking an architect capable of managing complex infrastructure and application transformations for enterprise-level customers. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in cloud migration, hybrid architectures, and cloud-native design and deployment. They should lead transition and transformation projects for infrastructure services and application modernization, supporting digital transformation and adopting a new modern operating model. Experience transforming enterprise outsourcing infrastructure services across distributed, mainframe, and hybrid cloud environments is essential.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing complex infrastructure and application transformations for enterprise clients.
• Leading strategic planning and business analysis for cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Designing and deploying hybrid architectures and cloud-native solutions aligned with business goals.
• Driving transition and transformation projects across diverse environments.
• Transforming enterprise outsourcing infrastructure services, including distributed systems, mainframes, and hybrid clouds.
• Developing and evaluating enterprise architecture designs, ensuring compliance with governance and best practices.
• Engaging stakeholders, including technical teams and business leaders, to ensure architectural alignment and adoption.
• Assessing risks and overseeing implementation, ensuring compliance with standards.

As an Enterprise Architect at Kyndryl, you will work with innovative companies to help them achieve business goals through strategic technology implementation, including AI, cloud adoption, and data platforms.

You must understand customer needs, apply industry best practices, and develop effective IT solutions in areas like platform engineering, modern operations, and hybrid IT management.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years developing and maintaining enterprise architectures focused on infrastructure and application transformation.
• 3-5 years as an enterprise architect in sectors like banking, finance, industrial, retail, government, or travel & transportation.
• Significant experience in cloud migration, hybrid architectures, and cloud-native design.
• Proven leadership in transition and transformation projects for infrastructure services.
• Experience transforming enterprise outsourcing infrastructure on distributed, mainframe, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Expertise in designing and implementing complex IT systems across cloud, data, applications, network, and infrastructure domains.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman), and governance.
• Successful track record delivering large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• Relevant certifications (TOGAF, OpenGroup Certified Architect, Hyperscaler).
• Experience with enterprise architecture tools (Alfabet, LeanIX, others).
• Experience with hyperscale cloud providers, automation, DevOps, and agile methodologies.
