Kigyo cerca un Senior Engineering Manager per guidare le attività ingegneristiche nello sviluppo di un portafoglio italiano in PV, eolico e sistemi BESS. Riporterà al Country Manager e supervisionerà tutti gli aspetti ingegneristici fino alla NtP.

Collaborerà strettamente con Development, consulenti, operatori di rete e autorità per garantire progetti tecnicamente robusti e conformi alle norme. Verrà richiesto un forte orientamento al risk management e alla banca di progetto.

Competenze

• Laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Elettrica, Energetica, Meccanica o disciplina correlata.
• Esperienza comprovata nell'ingegneria e sviluppo di progetti energetici rinnovabili su scala utility.
• Esperienza dimostrata nel supporto di progetti Solar PV, Wind e BESS dallo sviluppo fino a FID.
• Conoscenza approfondita dei processi di autorizzazione italiani, procedure di connessione in grid e standard ingegneristici per rinnovabili.
• Esperienza nel coordinare team di consulenti ingegneristici e flussi di lavoro tecnici durante lo sviluppo del progetto.
• Esperienza nel supporto di due diligence tecniche, ottimizzazione di progetti e decisioni d'investimento.
• La conoscenza di progetti Hydrogen e/o Power-to-X è considerata un vantaggio.

Mansioni

• Guidare e coordinare le attività ingegneristiche in tutte le fasi dello sviluppo del progetto.
• Revisionare i deliverables ingegneristici prodotti da team interni, consulenti esterni e partner di sviluppo.
• Ottimizzare layout di progetto per massimizzare resa energetica, capacità installata, permessi e valore del progetto.
• Verificare Yield e altre analisi tecniche con software ingegneristici standard di settore.
• coordinare indagini in sito, studi ingegneristici e valutazioni multidisciplinari per i KPI di sviluppo.
• Supportare le diligence tecniche legate a approvazioni di investimento e acquisizioni.

Senior Engineering Manager

For a prestigious and international client in the renewable, active in PV, Wind & BESS projects, I am looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead the engineering activities supporting the development of the Italian portfolio. The person will report directly to the Country Manager, being responsible of the all engineeting aspects of the projects till the NtP stage.

Additioanally, the person will work closely with the Project Development team, engineering consultants, grid operators and public authorities to ensure that projects are technically robust and fully aligned with the applicable regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition and implementation of the engineering strategy supporting the company's Solar PV, Wind and BESS development pipeline.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the development process, ensuring engineering quality, consistency and compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve technical standards, engineering guidelines and design criteria across the Italian development portfolio.
• Identify technical risks and opportunities, developing practical engineering solutions that enhance project bankability, constructability and long-term performance.
• Support strategic investment decisions by providing robust technical assessments and engineering recommendations.
• Contribute to portfolio optimization through continuous evaluation of technical solutions, project layouts and design assumptions.

Engineering Execution

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities throughout all stages of project development.
• Review and challenge engineering deliverables prepared by internal teams, external consultants and development partners.
• Review and optimize project layouts to maximize energy yield, installed capacity, permitting success and overall project value.
• Review and validate Yield Assessments and other technical analyses using industry-standard engineering software.
• Coordinate technical site investigations, engineering studies and multidisciplinary assessments required to advance projects through internal development milestones.
• Support technical due diligence activities associated with investment approvals and project acquisitions.

Grid Connection & Technical Stakeholder Management

• Define and coordinate grid connection strategies for new development projects.
• Manage technical interactions and communications with TSOs, DSOs and relevant public authorities throughout the grid connection process.
• Represent the company during technical discussions, connection procedures and working groups with external stakeholders.
• Oversee the preparation, review and submission of technical documentation supporting grid connection applications.

Technical Coordination

• Act as the primary technical interface between Project Development, engineering consultants, technology providers and specialist advisors throughout the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across internal teams and external technical consultants.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering studies and technical documentation required to advance projects through the development process.
• Support the technical evaluation of alternative engineering solutions, project optimizations and value engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in the engineering and development of utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Demonstrated track record supporting Solar PV, Wind and BESS projects through development up to Final Investment Decision (FID).
• Strong understanding of Italian permitting processes, grid connection procedures and engineering standards applicable to renewable energy projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering consultants and technical workstreams throughout project development.
• Experience supporting technical due diligence, project optimization and investment decision-making.
• xlwpduy Experience with hydrogen and/or Power-to-X projects will be considered an advantage.
