Overview

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented professional to join our Firmware team.

As a senior member of the Firmware team, you will play a leading role in the development of our IoT device portfolio. You will contribute to the whole product lifecycle as necessary, including requirements, development of firmware (in C) and tools (certification, ATE etc), testing (C and Python) and maintenance (investigating and solving field issues). You may manage the work of more junior colleagues and collaborate closely with other teams on a daily basis to improve our existing solution.

Bonus Points

• Strong experience in software development (10+ years) with a focus on C coding and debugging for embedded micro-controllers.
• Deep understanding of RTOS dynamics and ability to do real-time troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in both low-level drivers and in higher level logic, in resource-constrained embedded environments.
• Proficiency in Code-Reviews, Unit and System testing.
• Capability to read and understand schematics in both the analog and digital domain.
• Experience with using Lab instrumentation for code debugging and validation.
• Ability to follow concurrent tasks.
• Nice to have : Background in IoT, Wi-Fi, BLE, ISM RF, software implications on EMC, PLC (Power Line Communication).
• Experience in people and project management is an advantage.
• English fluency is mandatory, additional languages a plus.
• Valid working permit for Italy or EU nationality.
