Infineon Technologies AG in Padova, Italy seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Research & Development to advance embedded software in structured R&D projects and prototyping ecosystems, contributing to innovation and collaborating with partner teams.

You will develop, test, and verify software for MCU platforms, work with Zephyr, FreeRTOS, ROS2 and simulation tools, and help establish software ecosystems for Arduino, ROS, and Zephyr; fluency in English is required, and German/Italian

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 2+ years' professional embedded software development experience.
• Hands-on in C, C++ and Python.

Mansioni

• Develop, test, and verify embedded software for project-based work.
• Enable MCU portfolios for Arduino, ROS and Zephyr ecosystems.
• Develop and test libraries for actuators and sensors on Infineon hardware.
• Capture requirements and break into work packages.
• Represent Infineon at events and fairs.
• Supervise working students and interns.
