Qualcomm Europe, Inc. Italy Branch Office is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to design, develop and test firmware for microcontrollers and embedded platforms. You will maintain the Arduino codebase, contribute to Zephyr RTOS, and collaborate with hardware, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality firmware solutions.

You will join a mission-driven team with flexible working hours and locations, aimed at empowering people through open-source electronics and digital technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
• Experience with debugging tools and hardware interfaces

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, code, test and debug embedded firmware written in C and/or C++
• Maintain and improve the Arduino codebase
• Contribute to open-source projects like Zephyr RTOS
• Prototype a product solution from research to production
• Create and maintain technical documentation for designs, code, and tests
• Collaborate with hardware, software QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality products
• Represent Arduino at internal/external events and engage with the developer community
