Job Summary

Contract Type: Unlimited

Reporting Line: Technical Manager / Technical Director

Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What You Will Do

You will serve as the primary technical account manager to increase the usage of Altair solutions for electronic system design, focusing on high-frequency electromagnetics applications, within the Aerospace and Defense industry in the EMEA region.

Performance Areas

  • Increase Altair's presence in Electromagnetics and Electronics domains at Aerospace and Defense accounts.
  • Conduct technical pre-sales, customer demonstrations, benchmarks, support, consulting, and training.
  • Analyze customer needs and workflows, aligning them with Altair's software portfolio.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support growth strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Coordinate technical activities with subject matter experts and development teams to meet customer needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of industry experience in antenna design, RCS, radio/radar coverage, EMC/EMI, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of electromagnetic concepts, preferably in Aerospace and Defense.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Europe.
  • Willingness to work on military projects.
  • Citizenship in an EU country or the UK.
  • Fluent in English and at least one additional language (German, French, or Italian), depending on location.

Preferred Experience and Requirements

  • Experience and passion for Aerospace and Defense industries.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as Feko, CST, HFSS, or XFDTD.
