F.B. S.p.A. in Italy is seeking an Electromechanical Project Engineer to join the Bologna-based project management team.

You will oversee the technical execution of assigned projects, liaising with clients, suppliers and internal departments to ensure progress meets timelines, costs and quality standards. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will act as the client's technical contact, coordinate engineering activities, draft data sheets, P&IDs and technical specifications, and support progress

Competenze

• 3–5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in gas compression, industrial plant engineering or petrochemicals.
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Energy, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plant engineering principles in gas compression is a plus.
• Ability to manage project technical aspects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

To support the expansion of our Compressor Business Unit in Bologna, we are seeking an Electromechanical Project Engineer to join the project management team. The place of work will be either Bologna or Alberone di Cento (FE).

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the technical execution of assigned projects, liaising with clients, suppliers and internal departments to ensure the project progresses correctly in line with the required timelines, costs and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the client's technical point of contact during project execution
• Coordinate project engineering activities
• Analyse the project's technical specifications, draft and verify technical specifications for the procurement of electromechanical and process equipment, producing:
  • Data Sheets
  • P&IDs
  • Technical specifications
  • Documentation
• Coordinate technical meetings with clients and suppliers
• Support project progress and testing activities
• Ensure compliance with the project milestones specified by the client

Preferred requirements

• At least 3–5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in the fields of gas compression, industrial plant engineering or petrochemicals.
• Technical diploma from upper secondary school or a degree in Mechanical, Energy, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Knowledge of plant engineering principles in the gas compression sector is an advantage.
• Ability to manage project technical aspects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving and prioritisation skills
• Ability to work in a team and liaise with clients
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (minimum B2 level in English), both written and spoken
• Willingness to undertake short–term travel when necessary
