Candidates should have at least 5 years of electrical design experience, particularly in the railway domain. Knowledge of electrical engineering tools and good communication skills are essential. The position entails collaboration in a dynamic environment and may require short-term business trips.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design.

Job location: Naples

Role overview
Within the project electrical engineering team, you will be responsible to develop functional schematics and wiring design of assigned scope from the bid-phase up to all project phases.

Accountabilities
• Develop, integrate and document electrical schematics and wiring design using computer-aided engineering tools.
• Able to define electrical lines sizes and protections with cabling optimization of equipment connections as per assembly time reduction.
• Development and validation of concept electrical architecture, based on the requirements and vehicle configuration
• Verification and traceability of requirements eventually using specific tools, ( DOORS,…)
• Support to purchasing department during the procurement phase of materials and components
• Support to industrial engineering and production department during the vehicle assembly phase and follow-up modifications/change management

Required Skills/Knowledge
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Proven electrical design experience in electromechanical industries (preferred Railway Domain); at least 5 years of experience
• Excellent readiness of Electrical schematic and drawings;
• Knowledge of computer-aided electrical engineering tools (preferred SEE Electrical);
• Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, Access);
• Knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes;
• Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and to organize coordinate activities of others
• Availability for short-term national and international business trip.
