Description

We're looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Electrical Design and Technical Leader Team in Monselice. In this role, you will lead the design and development of innovative products and systems from concept to completion. You will be responsible for driving projects to success and ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and manufacturability. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in guiding cross-functional teams and achieving project objectives efficiently.

How you will make an impact

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams inside the factory and also with colleagues of other factories around the world. Analyze customer contractual documents and technical specifications to understand customer needs and identify critical issues.

2. Attend technical meetings with customers and suppliers. Foster strong relationships with key customers, utilizing their feedback to improve design processes and outcomes. Develop electromechanical designs, participate in reviews, and make necessary modifications to meet project needs.

3. Utilize standard engineering tools and processes to ensure designs meet industry standards and safety regulations. Optimize designs to deliver on time, cost-effective, high-quality solutions that meet budget and customer requirements.

4. Participate in project planning meetings to track design progress and ensure timely delivery, contributing to efficient project execution. Manage project costs by creating and monitoring cost sheets during project execution.

5. Support the engineering process and assist other designers involved in the same project. Report contract, quality, or cost issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution.

6. Provide support during transformer manufacturing to resolve issues and ensure top quality. Gather and incorporate customer feedback on design requirements to guide future product improvements.

7. Maintain clear communication within the team, contribute to documentation supporting engineering efforts, and foster a collaborative environment.

Your background

1. Degree in Electrical Engineering.

2. At least 5 years of experience as a Power Transformer Electrical Designer.

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical concepts to various stakeholders.

4. Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

5. Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

6. Availability for short-term travel for meetings and training.
