Alfasigma, a privately held global healthcare company headquartered in Bologna and Milan, seeks a Global Category Procurement professional – API to join our Global Procurement team.

You will own procurement activities for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, shaping category strategies, leading supplier negotiations, and driving cost optimization in an international, cross-functional environment.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in direct procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and the related supplier market is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to manage complex supplier negotiations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market and procurement data into actionable insights.
• Fluent English; additional languages are considered a plus.
