Do you want to make a significant impact on global healthcare access? Menarini, a pharmaceutical company with nearly 135 years of history, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr Director of Global Access Policy & Government Affairs to drive our strategic initiatives at an international level.

This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping access policy and government affairs strategies, collaborating with affiliates, trade associations, policymakers, and internal stakeholders to advance our corporate, commercial, and pipeline priorities across all key therapy areas.

Responsibilities:

As Senior Director, you will provide strategic leadership and direction to implement access policy and government affairs strategies at an international level. You will:

• Spearhead policy engagement with a wide range of external stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal customers to meet corporate, commercial, and pipeline priorities for both oncology and primary & specialty care.
• Support trade association engagement (IFPMA, EFPIA, EUCOPE and national associations) and facilitate senior management participation in trade association boards.
• Build and maintain a strong network of policy champions at the EU and international level.
  

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in government affairs with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical business model.
• Proven ability to influence international healthcare legislation and policy.
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
• Strategic thinking and experience working in matrix organizations with regular exposure to senior leaders.
• A good understanding of access policy dynamics affecting the pharmaceutical sector and how to engage with policymakers to shape political discussions to advance company goals.
• Strong English language skills required; Italian proficiency is a plus.
• A degree in public health, science, business, political science, and/or law is preferred.
