The Role

We are looking for a highly capable Senior Director to lead Finance Transformation programs for leading corporates and private equity-backed businesses. This is a hands-on, strategic execution role for a professional with a background in Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence, or Restructuring—either from consulting firms or large corporates.

Beyond financial modelling, this role requires the ability to work shoulder-to-shoulder with CFOs and senior finance leaders to implement transformation plans, not just design them. You will play a pivotal role in redefining finance functions to be leaner, faster, and more insight-led, using data to drive better decisions and enable long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Finance Transformation initiatives, from diagnostic through design to execution.
• Act as trusted advisor to CFOs and finance executives in building future-ready finance operating models.
• Design and operationalize financial models related to the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow—ensuring they support real-world decision-making.
• Partner with clients to implement new reporting tools, cost-control processes, working capital solutions, and finance performance management frameworks.
• Translate modelling outputs into strategic recommendations and actively participate in execution alongside client teams.
• Leverage Excel and Power BI to build high-impact dashboards, scenario planning tools, and digital reporting assets.
• Provide leadership across client engagements, guiding analysts and Associates, and contributing to business development and practice growth initiatives.
• Maintain a commercial and change-oriented mindset, focused on measurable results and business outcomes.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of senior-level experience in a consultancy environment (e.g., Transaction Services, FDD, Operational Restructuring) or in Corporate Finance within a transformation-heavy setting.
• Proven experience in development of CF Forecast and liquidity management
• Deep understanding of FP&A process and cost-accounting
• Proven track record in implementing—not just designing—finance transformation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of financial statement mechanics and a strong ability to interpret and manipulate large financial datasets.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities (including dashboard design, dynamic modelling, and data visualization).
• Strong client-handling experience with an ability to influence at C-suite and Board level.
• A results-driven and pragmatic approach to problem-solving; comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related discipline; further financial qualifications (e.g., ACA, CFA) are advantageous.
• Fluent in English (additional European languages a plus, depending on client base).
