A leading engineering firm is looking for a Senior DHSE Engineer to join their team in Milan. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing technical documentation, conducting hydraulic analyses, and participating in safety assessments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DHSE engineering within the Oil & Gas sector and a relevant degree.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DHSE engineering within EPC Oil & Gas projects.
• French language skills are highly desirable.

We are seeking a Senior DHSE Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Milan.

Responsibilities

• Review contractual technical documentation and requirements.
• Prepare deliverables issued by the DHSE discipline, such as hazardous area classifications, HSED Plans / Philosophies, fire protection specifications, and workshop close-out reports.
• Review third-party risk assessment studies (e.g., FERA, QRA, dispersion analysis, dropped object study, EIA, noise study, RAM analysis).
• Perform hydraulic analysis for fire water network design and verification.
• Review vendor documentation for fire fighting equipment and liaise with suppliers on technical issues.
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, SIMOPS, and other risk assessment and safety workshops.
• Conduct or participate in squad checks.
• Review tender documentation and prepare clarification requests during the bid phase.
• Plan work to meet project schedules.

Requirements

• Knowledge of main international DHSE codes, standards, and best practices (API, IEC, NFPA, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DHSE engineering within EPC Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy projects.
• Fluency in English is essential; French is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
• Proficiency in software used for DHSE activities.
