Senior Development Manager

We're currently looking for a Project Development Manager to join our M Renewables team in Italy.

Your role will encompass:

1. Review planning documentation in respect of new projects as part of the due diligence and co-ordinate with planning consultants to discharge planning conditions and submit variations, where necessary.
2. Analyse approved projects in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of all requirements received during the approval process.
3. Provide assistance to the Head of Development Manager in the management of assigned projects.
4. Assist the grid team with planning and land related issues in respect of grid connections assets.
5. Supported by Grid Team, negotiate/manage Grid Share Agreement with other Operator/Developer.
6. Assist to develop and implement strategic plans for renewable energy project development.
7. Assist in the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
8. Interact with the Engineering and Legal departments in order to complete the project development tasks.
9. Interact with local external developers.
10. Explore new agreements with local developers.
11. Manage an internal PD Team.

What you bring to the role:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science and Business Management or related fields.
2. 5+ years working experience in development projects.
3. Good knowledge of AUTOCAD.
4. Strong knowledge of Italian regulatory in order to define best permitting procedures fitted project by project.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
7. Italian and English knowledge is required.
8. Ability to travel as needed for project development and Public Authorities meetings.
9. Excellent relationship skills.
