the demand planning organization at sc johnson translates true consumer demand into actionable forecasts that guide supply chain and business decisions. as a senior demand planning analyst you will shape the demand signal for a defined country or country‑category portfolio, partnering with commercial, marketing, finance and supply chain teams.
Responsibilities
- own end‑to‑end demand planning activities for specific countries or country‑category combinations within the southern cluster (italy, romania, greece, adriatic countries).
- develop accurate and reliable demand forecasts using demand‑planning systems, following established processes and governance.
- collect, consolidate and analyse historical and forward‑looking demand inputs (promotions, pricing changes, distribution gains/losses, new and discontinued products).
- translate commercial and marketing assumptions into quantified demand impacts, documenting forecast logic.
- partner cross‑functionally on new product launches, discontinuations and portfolio transitions, validating volume, pipeline, fill and cannibalisation assumptions.
- collaborate with sales, marketing and finance to evaluate promotional effectiveness and close data and assumption gaps.
- prepare and present demand outlooks during s&op demand review meetings, clearly articulating key drivers, risks and opportunities.
- ensure demand forecasts are shared with the appropriate level of detail, timing and confidence to support supply chain and business planning.
- track, analyse and communicate demand‑planning and s&op kpis, driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Experience & Skills
- 3‑5 years of experience in demand planning or a related supply chain role.
- proven understanding of demand forecasting and the s&op process.
- advanced proficiency in microsoft excel and powerpoint, strong data‑handling skills.
- hands‑on experience with erp and planning systems (e.g., sap, kinaxis).
- bachelor’s degree in economics, supply chain management, engineering or a related field (preferred).
- previous experience in the fmcg industry is a strong advantage.

Compensation
gross salary range: €41,460 – €54,411 per year, plus profit sharing, short‑term and long‑term incentives and a comprehensive benefits program.
