Job summary

Amazon is hiring a senior data scientist to apply ML and statistics across the Customer Fulfillment & Prime analytics team. You will develop scalable ML systems analyzing millions of interactions to enhance customer experience across 10 countries.

You’ll own end-to-end ML lifecycle, deploy models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Expect travel to MX/BR and CET-aligned hours to overlap with regional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data scientist experience.
• 6+ years of SQL, scripting (Python) or statistical software experience.
• 6+ years of ML/statistical modeling and data analysis experience.
• 5+ years of working with or evaluating AI systems.
• Master's degree in STEM or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ML lifecycle: feature engineering, modeling, and deployment.
• Strong foundation in ML and statistical modeling.
• Deploy ML solutions to production environments.
• Develop scalable abuse-detection and fraud-risk models.
• Explore GenAI to automate customer promotion solutions.
