JOB TITLE: Sr Data Engineer - Global Operations

JOB SUMMARY
The overall purpose of the role is to support the designing and developing for reporting, analytics, modeling and working in close contact with different key stakeholders in operations. This role requires both tight team collaboration and the ability to work on project components independently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Help designing & implementing the data strategy to build the Analytics Platform to support global manufacturing network
• Developing and managing BI intelligence solutions for the organization
• Create a Self-Service reporting platform to streamline, standardize & simplify access to data, reporting & analytics
• Analyzing business requirements and processes and design optimal BI Solutions to support the Organization objectives
• Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design requirements and user manuals
• Manage and publish all required KPIs for internal business needs
• Ensure continuous visibility & data consistency in the Analytics Platform throughout the migration from SAP ECC to S4 HANA
• Manages and provides leadership for the functional group’s development, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes and supporting overall business and corporate objectives
• Interface with other functions and processes where quality data is required (continuous improvement projects, CAPAs, etc.)
• Manage design and support of data visualization and reports
• Build automations and updates to data sources to produce regular reporting products to support business decision making
• Make modifications and updates to existing data pipelines as necessary
• Critically review current and future data structures with an eye towards simplicity & performance
• Build ad hoc analysis and reports for strategic initiatives
  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor' s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

• 5-8 years' experience in BI, Data and Analytics
• Good knowledge / understanding of manufacturing operations & supply chain

Skills

• Knowledge and understanding of Inventory Management Principles and E2E Supply Chain Processes
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Language
• Advanced knowledge of database design (Oracle / SQL server)
• Good knowledge of BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Good knowledge of PowerShell (Microsoft task automation and configuration management framework)
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Azure Platform
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of SAP platform is a plus
• Strong Analytical capabilities
• Self-starter who can drive results given ambiguity and minimal direction and oversight
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Organize and prioritize issues and activities necessary to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Results oriented and able to handle time-sensitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Good verbal communication, both talking and listening
