AlfaDocs.com is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Freelance) to own data infrastructure, transform raw data into actionable insights, and drive analytics across the business. This remote, part-time role reports to the CEO and focuses on building a scalable data warehouse and robust ETL/ELT pipelines in a growing SaaS environment.

The position suits an autonomous expert with hands-on experience in data modeling, semantic layers, and AI/LLM-ready data access.

Qualifications

• Extensive Data Engineering experience and proven track record building a data warehouse from scratch.
• Deep expertise in ETL/ELT and scalable data warehouse architectures.
• Strong data modeling skills to support analytics and self-service BI.
• Proficiency in SQL and modern cloud data warehousing; BigQuery and Dataform experience preferred.
• Understanding of how to offer data to LLM-based applications with data context and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources.
• Own data warehouse architecture, data quality, performance, and scalability.
• Develop clear data models and a semantic layer for reporting and analytics.
• Enable BI dashboards, charts, and analyses for internal teams.
• Integrate AI/LLM solutions with secure, contextual data access.
• Evaluate tech options and drive a pragmatic data strategy.
