Job summary

Ruby Labs Ltd. is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to drive analytics across subscription products and web funnels, partnering with Product, Marketing, and Data teams to improve conversion, retention, and LTV while ensuring trusted tracking and strong data models.

This hands-on, cross-functional role involves owning analysis from framing to recommendation and mentoring analysts while collaborating with Data Engineering/BI to keep data foundations reliable.

Qualifications

• Degree in an analytical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; identify trends and root causes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; translate analysis into actions.
• Experience in Product Analytics: funnels, cohorts, retention, LTV, churn.
• Hands-on with event analytics tools: Mixpanel, GA4, Amplitude.
• Advanced SQL.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Experience in subscription business.
• Adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Define KPIs, success metrics, and decision criteria with Product, Marketing, and Data teams.
• Create and improve dashboards and reporting (Product/Marketing).
• Deliver full-funnel analysis, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements or A/B tests.
• Lead user behavior analysis (journeys, drop-offs, activation) using event data.
• Monitor metrics and communicate updates to stakeholders with SLAs.
• Own and maintain event taxonomy and tracking structure; validate implementation.
• Design and build robust, reusable SQL data models.
• Mentor Junior/Middle Analysts in SQL and funnel/cohort analysis.
• Provide regular feedback to leadership and maintain quality.
