Manager / Team Leader

Reporting directly to the Lead Counsel Market Unit South and indirectly to the Head of L&C MN Europe regarding the Managing Counsel Enterprise Europe role, the successful candidate will ensure that NOKIA's strategies are developed and business decisions are informed by a thorough understanding of legal issues in Italy, Malta, Albania, and Greece, while coordinating enterprise activities across Europe.

Minimum qualifications

• Jurist Doctor or equivalent (Italy or Greece); MBA/LLM a plus
• Full professional proficiency in English and Italian; additional European languages are a plus
• Strong intercultural and leadership skills
• Several years of relevant experience, including in other jurisdictions
• Solution-oriented lawyer with excellent business understanding

Responsibilities

• Support business teams in Italy, Malta, Albania, and Greece, coordinating with other L&C resources
• Coordinate enterprise activities across Europe
• Provide leadership to staff and project teams to solve complex issues
• Ensure delivery of client service, meeting evolving needs
• Manage legal spend and relationships with external law firms
• Monitor compliance with laws and regulations, providing training and updates

• Expert in commercial law with broad and deep knowledge
• Capable of handling complex problems and coordinating cross-disciplinary work
• Shares expertise and anticipates client needs
• Provides strategic legal advice, supports negotiations, and manages legal risks
• Proven experience in managing compliance issues and making sound decisions
