Würth IT Italy in Bolzano is seeking a Senior Controller to act as a trusted business partner, turning complex financial data into clear insights. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPI-based controlling in collaboration with management and cross-functional teams.

The role offers international project exposure, a flexible work arrangement including remote options, and a compensation package with performance bonuses. You will enhance data quality and reporting processes to drive value.

Competenze

• Degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Controlling with accounting knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
• Independent, structured, results-oriented, with responsibility taking.
• Fluency in Italian, very good German and English.

As Senior Controller you act as a competent business partner turning complex financial data into clear insights.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a trusted business partner to management, team leaders, and stakeholders on financial and operational matters
• Analyzing, developing and optimizing management reports, KPI-based steering instruments, controlling tools, and reporting processes
• Performing cost-, profitability- and ad-hoc analyses, translating complex data into meaningful insights and into recommendations for decision-making
• Driving budgeting, forecasting and mid-term planning processes in close collaboration with business leaders and functional experts
• Analyzing monthly and annual financial results, including contribution margins, profit center performance and key business drivers
• Identifying plan-versus-actual deviations, assessing underlying causes and supporting the definition and tracking of corrective actions
• Evaluating business cases, investments, projects as well as service pricing models regarding profitability, cost efficiency and economic viability
• Continuously improving data quality, reporting transparency and controlling processes to support fact-based decision-making
• Collaborating closely with Project Controlling, Finance, team leaders and the international organization to harmonize processes, KPIs and reporting standards
• Driving the digitalization and automation of reporting and controlling processes and proactively identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and value creation

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Finance, Financial Management or a comparable qualification
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Controlling combined with solid accounting knowledge and a good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
• Used to work independently, in a structured and results-oriented manner and taking over responsibilities
• Entrepreurship, pragmatic approach, focus on continuous improvements
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as solid SAP knowledge (FI/CO); experience with reporting and BI tools is an advantage
• Strong presentation skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at different organizational levels and to communicate effectively and confidently
• Thriving in an international environment and enjoying collaborating with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders
• Strong affinity for IT and a keen interest in the digitalization and automation of finance and controlling processes
• Highly committed to continuous personal and professional development
• Fluency in Italian, very good German and English language skills
