KPMG recrute un Senior Consultant en Durabilité et Changement Climatique à Rome. Vous serez responsable de l'élaboration de stratégies de durabilité et d'évaluation des risques ESG pour des clients de premier plan. Ce poste exige une connaissance approfondie des normes de durabilité et au moins deux ans d'expérience dans le domaine. Vous rejoindrez une équipe dynamique et engagée dans des projets innovants.

When you join the Governance, Risk, Compliance and Sustainability Services team, you will help companies transform risks into opportunities for the improvement of their organisation and evolution of their governance systems to gain a competitive edge and offer integrated solutions and innovative approaches for strategic risk management.

As a member of our team, your experience will be put to full use, enabling you to become the point person for top-tier national and international clients.

We are recruiting a senior consultant specialised in Sustainability & Climate Change for the Rome office to work on the following projects:

Sustainability:

• Definition of strategies and strategic sustainability and shared value plans;
• Development of governance and organisational models to support the corporate transformation process;
• Sustainability risk identification and assessment (ESG risks);
• Socially responsible investments, sustainable finance and ESG ratings;
• Sustainable finance: development of solutions for our clients in the financial sector to align policies and portfolios with climate and ESG objectives;
• Sustainability reporting systems: preparing sustainability reports/integrated reporting, defining specific reporting (e.g., TCFD framework) and filling out sustainability questionnaires (from investors and customers);
• Development of circular economy and LCA initiatives;
• Supply chain management (definition of policies, assessment models, HSE audits, etc.);
• Development of socio-environmental impact assessment models.

Climate Change:

• Preparation of decarbonisation strategies (“transition plan”) and carbon inventory;
• Definition of scenario analyses on climate change through the use of tools/research about internationally-recognised scenarios (e.g., IPCC, etc.);
• Support in the definition of objectives in line with the science-based targets initiative (SBTI);
• Identification and quantification of the financial impacts of the risks and opportunities of climate change.

Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics

This is the perfect opportunity for you if:

• You have extensive knowledge of the main sustainability and/or climate change topics, with at least two years of specific experience (in one or more of the above areas) within consulting companies, ESG rating agencies or industrial/financial companies spearheading sustainability;
• You have extensive knowledge of the main guidelines for the preparation of sustainability reports, international standards and sustainability operating models, definition of economic, social and environmental measurement models;
• You have excellent knowledge of English, preferably with study and/or work experience abroad;
• You have an aptitude for innovation and the development of new services and markets;
• You have the ability to coordinate work teams, manage projects and organise work independently;
• You maintain high quality standards and a focus on professional excellence;
• You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
