Do Work That Matters - Your role and responsibilities

At KPMG, you will have the opportunity to help clients, the company, and colleagues address and solve complex challenges. KPMG Advisory offers consulting services in business model transformation, process improvement, digitisation, risk management, and finance transactions.

Joining our Financial and Performance Management team, you will work on finance transformation projects, redesigning control, planning, and reporting models for leading companies.

You will be part of our expanding team of young talents working on innovative projects, providing advice on corporate performance management systems, analyzing and reviewing designs and processes supporting the CFO, and developing technological platforms.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Analyzing and defining budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, sales and operational planning, and product costing processes;
  2. Defining profitability analysis models, including income statement logic, reclassification/consolidation, variable costs, and overhead allocation;
  3. Assisting in analyzing the closing process for management accounts and redefining them for faster closes;
  4. Analyzing and defining operating/strategic KPIs for performance monitoring;
  5. Preparing and analyzing periodic directors’ reports and their changes.

Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics

This role is ideal if you:

  • Have a master’s degree in Economics;
  • Have 2+ years of experience in similar roles within consulting firms;
  • Are familiar with control models, budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and management accounts;
  • Possess excellent English skills, preferably with international experience;
  • Are a problem solver, goal-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills, and comfortable in leadership roles.
