Overview

Senior Consultant - ESG Accounting Advisory Services

In KPMG, you will have opportunities to help clients, society, and colleagues tackle and solve current and complex challenges, while upholding integrity and quality. The Accounting Advisory Services Team focuses on ESG-enabled assurance procedures that are increasingly digitized, integrated, automated, and based on AI and Big Data. By joining the team, you will work with leading national and international clients to transform processes and accounting models to be compliant with regulations and aligned with the business model. You will also support the development of non-financial reporting projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and the transparency and authenticity of ESG initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Methodological support for drafting sustainability reports
  • Implementation activities of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
  • Gap analysis projects between currently used reporting principles and future European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
  • ESG due diligence
  • Preparation and monitoring of the activity plan, coordination between Business and IT Stakeholders during the implementation phases
Your Skills and Characteristics

This opportunity is perfect for you if :

  • You have at least 2-3 years of experience at companies specializing in Corporate Sustainability / Climate Change
  • You have obtained a master’s degree in economics / finance or a master's focused on Sustainability topics
  • You are interested in working in sustainability reporting and preparing sustainability reports
  • You have knowledge of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and ESG topics
  • You have excellent knowledge of English (preferably with study/work abroad) and strong knowledge of the Office suite
