To further strengthen the Compliance and AML function, BG SAXO is looking for a Compliance & AML Specialist. The job will consist of assessment of compliance and AML risks, advisory and monitoring activities, assisting with reporting and development of BG SAXO compliance and AML framework and governance.

You will work within the Compliance and AML team in BG SAXO – based in Milan - but you will be also involved in Compliance and AML projects and activities across Saxo Bank Group. The Saxo Group Compliance department consists of several teams in Europe as well as abroad, each of which has their own responsibility, but who are working closely together in order achieve a common goals within the compliance area.

Responsibilities

Identify applicable rules for BG SAXO (MiFID II, Market Abuse, AML, Privacy etc.) and risk areas of non-compliance

Perform compliance and AML risk assessments

Provide advice and compliance/AML opinions to the business and other functions to prevent compliance/AML risks

Conduct compliance and AML monitoring activities (annual plan)

Contribute to regular compliance/AML reporting to the CEO and to the BoD of BG SAXO

Cooperate with other Compliance & AML teams within Saxo Group

Second level analysis in relation to CDD and ODD processes

Draft and update the BG SAXO’s policies and procedures

Reviewing AML/Market Abuse suspicion alerts and, if necessary, prepare reports to the relevant authorities

Approval of marketing contents, including contractual documentation

Your profile

We are looking for a collegue with and open and positive attitude to join our team, someone who is a great team player and someone who has a proactive approach to their work.

Moreover, we are looking for someone with a BSc/Master in Economy or Law with at least 4/5 years’ experience within Compliance or AML Function of banks, investment firms, SGR or within consulting firm or law firms

English on a high level is important, both in speaking and in writing.
