About the Role

We are seeking an experienced communications professional that can lead communications for the MUBI Italia brand and film publicity. This role is based in Rome, working with the Global Communications, Marketing and Content teams. MUBI’s Communications team is responsible for global corporate and consumer communications, film and platform publicity, talent management and awards.

Where you’ll have impact:
  • Setting our Communication strategy and priorities for Italy in collaboration with MUBI’s Global Communications team and MUBI Italia for all aspects of the MUBI brand including -

    • Brand campaigns including MUBI Podcast, Notebook and Editions

    • Theatrical and platform campaigns for MUBI Releases, MUBI Productions and Exclusives

  • Manage our PR agency in Rome and lead on execution of local PR campaigns, working closely with Global Communications team (based in London)

  • Support with publicity and talent management at Italian festivals

  • Partner with our Global Communications team, MUBI Italia and our PR agency to assist with all in-person activities and events happening in Italy

  • Entrepreneurial attitude: highly self-motivated and autonomous, thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong experience in Italian film publicity and/or consumer brand PR

  • Strong track record of working with talent and agency teams

  • Analytics-driven mindset, with ability to determine appropriate KPIs, measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimize accordingly

  • Impeccable attention to detail and highly organized

  • Confident managing budgets and using resources efficiently and savvily

  • Experience managing agencies or teams

  • Working knowledge of software such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
