The Senior Commissioning Specialist is responsible for providing professional on-site services for cooling products by Schneider Electric, including commissioning, technical analysis, and issue resolution. The role focuses on complex projects involving cooling equipment such as air chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, and water-cooled systems, primarily in Slovakia or the candidate's home country, with extensive travel across Europe.
Main responsibilities include startup and commissioning of equipment, evaluating installation and operational conditions, performing onsite adjustments, root cause analysis, collaborating with other engineers, documenting repairs, training customers, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
Requirements include a thorough understanding of HVAC principles, at least 5 years of experience with HVAC or cooling equipment, experience with cooling solutions, and fluency in English. The candidate must hold an EU passport, be flexible, reliable, and willing to travel approximately 70% of the time.
Educational background should include a university degree in Mechanical or Electrotechnical engineering. Additional desired skills include experience with precision cooling, HVAC, generators, fire detection systems, and proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and other software tools.
