Fluence Energy, LLC seeks a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead end-to-end commissioning of energy storage projects across EMEA and globally, ensuring safe, compliant operation.

You will coordinate multi-site testing, verify controls and safety systems, and handover to O&M, while traveling across regions.

Requires 10+ years in electrical engineering, knowledge of battery storage, low/medium voltage, and fluency in English and German.

Competenze

• Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent training
• Min. 10 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of battery storage systems, inverter, switchgear for low/medium voltage
• Strong understanding of VDE, IEC, IEEE battery storage standards and regulations
• Fluent in English and German
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Mansioni

• Coordinate commissioning of Fluence projects with multi-stakeholder teams (construction managers, contractors, suppliers, telecoms, control systems)
• Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans including resources and schedules
• Lead commissioning efforts to reach commercial operation and transition to O&M
• Define and execute testing protocols aligned with market rules, local utility requirements, and off-taker contracts
• Oversee commissioning and acceptance testing of project networks, control systems, power and HVAC subsystems, safety systems, and battery/inverter subsystems
• Execute electricity market and off-taker qualification tests as needed
• Travel across EMEA and international sites
