Translated Srl in Rome is seeking a Senior CloudOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure Team. You will drive governance, scale Kubernetes across cloud and on-prem, and enable AI development with modern MLOps tooling.

You will own the infrastructure lifecycle end-to-end, embrace IaC, and implement cost-optimization across the stack while supporting engineering teams with self-service tooling and best practices.

Competenze

• 5+ years in a CloudOps/DevOps/SRE role managing production infra.
• Strong AWS infrastructure management, cost optimization, and deep IaC experience (Terraform/Ansible).
• Kubernetes: production experience building and operating clusters in cloud (AWS EKS) and on-prem; Argo CD (GitOps) and Helm.
• MLOps Foundations: experience serving, scheduling, and scaling ML inference/training workloads (NVIDIA GPU drivers, device plugins, or MLOps frameworks).
• Engineering mindset: scripting in Python, Bash, or Go to build automation and tools.
• Team enablement: mentoring developers, driving best practices, improving developer experience.

• Cloud Governance: Lead AWS architecture governance, cost optimization, capacity planning, access management; ensure infrastructure is declared via IaC.
• Hybrid Kubernetes Architecture: Design, build, operate Kubernetes across cloud and on-prem; standardize deployments with GitOps (Argo CD), Helm.
• MLOps Infrastructure: Build and maintain pipelines for AI model deployment and inference; optimize GPU usage and monitoring.
• Team Enabling & Developer Experience: Provide guidance, templates, and self-service tooling for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Infrastructure Operations: Optimize reliability, observability (Datadog/ELK/CloudWatch), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and hybrid connectivity.
