Job Description:

What are your responsibilities as DevOps, Cloud Engineer?

You will develop your career in our engineering department, contributing to defining and implementing a robust, reliable cloud solution and championing DevOps practices throughout our engineering teams, proportional to your experience level.

You will write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and develop application deployment automation using industry-standard tools.

You will implement and stay updated on Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling.

Our core software engineering department is based in Lucca, where all teams work closely together on developing products for industries such as banking, insurance, automotive, and food and beverage. We believe in Agile methodologies, leveraging teamwork, self-organization, and proactivity, as the best solutions come from collective intelligence and collaboration.

Contribute to designing and implementing our Cloud platform infrastructure.

Improve and maintain our internal cloud platform to enhance reliability, scalability, and observability of our services.

Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using industry-standard tools and services.

Design and implement the infrastructure, systems, and tools used by our engineering teams to develop, deploy, and monitor their applications.

Design and manage our observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and tracing.

Automate application deployment using industry-standard deployment and configuration tools.

Work closely with engineering teams to identify resource needs and implement automated, scalable, and repeatable provisioning workflows using cloud-native best practices.

You may work in hybrid mode in our Lucca office or remotely (in Italy) if based far from the location.

What should you bring to CCH Tagetik part of Wolters Kluwer?

You Must Have:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in major clouds including AWS and Azure. Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes in development and production environments.
• Experience designing, deploying, and engineering cloud-native microservices within Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Understanding of architectural patterns, security best practices, and industry standards for cloud services.
• Strong understanding of network topologies and components, deployment methods, and constraints in the cloud.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch.
• Experience with source control management tools like Git.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and GitOps tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proven experience as DevOps or SRE (Site Reliability Engineer).
• Team-oriented attitude, enthusiasm, passion for work, flexibility, autonomy, and proactivity.
• Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English.

Additional preferred knowledge:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Familiarity with managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS).
• Familiarity with service mesh and API gateways (Istio, Kong).
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch stack (ELK), Grafana.
