Job summary

Generali is seeking a proactive professional to join the Group Climate Hub's Catastrophe Modeling team. You will manage catastrophe modeling activities for a defined portfolio and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to influence risk management and reinsurance decisions.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end modeling, model evaluation, exposure analytics and cross-functional collaboration to promote best practices and knowledge sharing within the Group.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on catastrophe modeling experience in insurance, broker, reinsurer or vendor.
• Master’s degree in quantitative subjects.
• Proficient in English and Italian; other European languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end catastrophe modeling for the assigned perimeter with timely outputs and exposure analyses.
• Evaluate, test and implement catastrophe models; advise on reinsurance and risk management.
• Coordinate complex exposure management analyses and identify risk drivers and portfolio opportunities.
• Serve as main contact for Group Units on catastrophe modeling topics; ensure methodological consistency.
